Benton Habitat for Humanity offers volunteer opportunities in all aspects of home building. We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities. Most volunteer tasks require only a willingness to learn and work with others. Non-construction opportunities include helping on committees, at the office and the ReStore. We make every effort to incorporate all volunteers, regardless of skill level.
You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on the work site. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age. Volunteers between 16 and 18 can do general construction but cannot do excavation, demolition, roofing, work above 6 feet or use power tools. We work rain or shine! To request information or sign up to volunteer, please complete the online Registration & Orientation or contact the Volunteer Coordinator. It's quick and simple to find out where we have construction volunteer needs, just visit our Volunteer Calendar, find a date that suits your availability and sign up.
If you want to volunteer in a non-construction capacity, check out our list of Non-Construction Volunteer Opportunities. The information you provide on the Volunteer Registration form will help match your skills with available volunteer opportunities. This information is never shared with any other organization or company. Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information. If you have a group of volunteers, your group can complete the Online Registration & Orientation process, or you can contact the Volunteer Coordinator and we can arrange to come to your location for an in-person group orientation. | |||||||||||||
